Ep 004 - Fundraiser to Honor the Florida HS Victims

"Whatever the problem, be part of the solution." The world needs great leaders like these amazing HKA high school students.

February 14, 2018 marked a day of sorrow and frustration in our nation. This was the day Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida was brutally attacked in a school shooting, resulting in the loss of the lives of 17 innocent people. As a lasting tribute to their memory, Hoover Karate Academy is holding the first annual Attack Life Not Others Fundraiser in their honor.

On April 21, 2018, Hoover Karate Academy will be hosting a fitness challenge fundraiser at HKA North from 9am - 2pm. This fundraiser will honor the 17 victims who lost their lives in the recent school shooting. The event will work much like a spartan run; teams of 4 will work through 17 fitness stations as a group until all stations have been completed. We ask you to create your team of 4 and sign up at either HKA location!

Please feel free to contact us at hkafundraiser@gmail.com with questions. You may also follow our event page to receive information as it becomes available.

We would like to commend the students who have taken the initiative to put this fundraiser together in the hopes of making a difference. Please support their venture and their cause by joining us on April 21st.
